Key Features

High torque reserve
Redesigned hood, curved fenders
Minimum maintenance costs
Improved lubrication

Tier 3 Certified Engine

The new 210LJ features a Tier 3 certified 4045HT 4.5L John Deere Power Systems engine for outstanding fuel economy and proven reliability.

Wet-sleeve liners help to provide superior cooling, reduced oil breakdown, and reduced ring wear, all of which increase long-term engine durability over similar “throw-away” cast-in-block designs.

The serpentine belt on the 4045 engine never needs adjusting and helps to keep this machine in the dirt and out of the shop.

Engine access is provided via a new tilt hood that opens wider and allows even better access than what was provided on older models.

Serviceability and Uptime

500-hour oil service interval and all daily service checks on the 210LJ are same side and ground-level, making maintenance quick and easy. In addition, a periodic maintenance chart is placed right next to the service locations, helping to ensure that no items are missed, resulting in more uptime.

Low temperature circuit and single radiator cooling system improves cooling, helps warm oil faster, and gives easy access to the coolers for cleanout.

Sight gauges and spin-on filters help make this machine easy to maintain. In addition, the 210LJ benefits from filter commonality with the 310J backhoe.

The valve bank has been relocated under the platform to improve serviceability and improve access to the hitch hoses.

Comfort And Productivity

Whether looking to the bucket in the front, the wheels on the sides, or the box blade in the rear, the visibility when operating this machine is unsurpassed.

Any operator who grades or takes advantage of the various attachments that can be used on this machine will appreciate the new swivel seat. Choose from 6 positions to turn the seat from 10° to the left and up to 40° to the right, giving the operator an easy view of the rear and sides of the machine.

Two cell phone power ports, a cup holder, and storage for a cooler are all included in the cab. Cell phone ports are optional in the ROPS model.

With increased foot- and leg-room, the redesigned workstation offers more of what it takes to make an operator productive. And it’s easier to get on and off of it.
